The Application of BP Network to Modeling a Nonlinear Oil-damping Shock Absorber

In this paper,we introduce a new technique,BP network,to modeling the nonlinear system.This new technique can countermeasure the limitations of traditional linear theory in dealing with problems arising from modeling the complex nonlinear oil-damping shock absorber.To expound the advantages of BP network in modeling the nonlinear system,experiments of a nonlinear oil-damping shock absorber have been carried out and a relevant model has been set up.On the basis of the findings out of the experimental model,improvement has been made to BP network,and a more practical model of a nonlinear oil-damping shock absorber has been established.The results of simulation suggest that BP network has better precision and has thus become a useful tool.
