On-line analysis of EEG with a small computer (period-amplitude analysis).

Abstract A simple method for automatic analysis of the EEG is described, suitable for use with the smallest digital computers presently available (period-amplitude analysis by the zero-crossing method). The computer program suggested supplies complete period and amplitude histograms for any analysis time chosen. Applications of this flexible and economical method for clinical and scientific purposes are discussed; an illustrative example is given.
