MOBYSIM: Mobility Simulation Suite

Research and societal questions in the area of mobility are becoming more and more complex, covering many different aspects of the traffic system. Simulation tools are an important aid in the study of such questions. Their complexity requires an integrated mixed reality environment, in which the tools are connected to each other and to external data sources. At TNO, many simulation tools for mobility research are available. The MOBYSIM project aims to integrate them in a tool suite. This paper presents the methodology used in developing the architecture for such a tool suite, and presents the results to date.
