Magnetostatic wave (m.s.w.) devices can exhibit multiple reflections due to finite sample dimensions. By reducing the magnetic bias field in the end regions of the sample using soft iron rods, these reflections can be eliminated. This has been demonstrated by pulse delay measurements.
