Algorithm for Sensor Management in The Space-based Infrared LEO Constellation

Due to the movement between the LEO infrared satellites and the targets in the missile defense system,the model of the sensor management problem in the space-based infrared LEO constellation is studied.A sensor management algorithm based on minimizing the GDOP is proposed,the constraints of multiple targets surveillance,handover cost,sensor request delay and real time computation are considered.A closed-loop architecture with one step ahead prediction is implemented for the algorithm.The efficiency of the sensor management algorithm in the LEO infrared constellation is corroborated by the results of the simulation.
