Comparison and Selection of Double-wall Steel Cofferdam Plans in Nanchong Jialing River Super-large Bridge

With the deep water foundation construction of Nanchong Jialing River Super-large Bridge in Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway as the case,the article compared and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages between two kinds of double-wall steel cofferdam construc-tion plans of pile-forming first,then steel cofferdam construction and steel cofferdam first,then bored pile construction,and combined with factors of construction period,construction season and riverbed geology etc.,it determined the reasonable cofferdam construction plan.
