Compound Control: Capturing Multivariable Nature of Biological Control

Multivariable extension of design theory was a historic milestone that innovated the basic framework of control theory fundamentally. Analogous situation is now coming into the stage of biological control research. This paper addresses the present state-of-arts of this issue, introducing the multivariable nature of biological control, the formulation of the problem under specific assumptions and preliminary results obtained. The paper suggests the possible paradigm change in future biological control research.
