Discussion on scientific research in institutions of higher learning and subject construction

Subject construction is the soul of a university.Competition among institutions of higher learning is actually the competition of the subject level.Aiming at the problems existing in subject construction and research,the authors analyze the relationship between subject construction and research,propose specific measure,further specify the orientation of research,which is to fuel subject construction through high level research,make full use of the dominant of subject,advance science and technology creation,reinforce the organization and coordination function of science and technology management.So we could build a platform of science and technology creation,boost the amalgamation and share of subject resources,and form the growth pole of subject and the sally port of research.
