Récepteurs non-cohérents utilisant un égaliseur à retour de décision et un seuil optimal pour le système DECT

A non-coherent equaliser structure for outdoor and large indoor Digital European Cordless Telephone (DECT) channels is introduced, which performs equalisation at the output of a differential detector. It is based on a one-tap decision feedback equaliser using an appropriate channel estimation process and an optimised threshold value. The BER simulation results presented suggest that the new receiver can give significant improvement in comparison to the standard non-coherent receivers in dispersive DECT channels. Furthermore this simple structure yields performances similar to much more complex Viterbi equalisers in the delay spread range of the outdoor DECT channels (100 to 250ns).
