에너지 절약주택에서 이중외피시스템의 적용가능성

Double skin facades made of glass layers with ventilated shading device are often used in commercial building. The solar collector-like construction leads to high temperatures in the facade cavities during summertime and the possible overheating of the building. The purpose of this study is to evaluate application of double skin facade system in energy saving house. As a result through research method, this paper begins with a conceptive explanation of the double skin facade system. Also, through the analysis of thermal condition of buffer space and seasonal characteristics of ventilation in Seoul, the design condition of double skin facade system is investigated.
