A Method for Determining Feasible Master Production Schedules for Material Requirements Planning Systems

Abstract This paper examines the applied problem of determining a master schedule to drive an order launching production plan. A linear approximation to the scheduling problem is formulated and optimized. In practice, the feasibility of the model is shown.
