Iris Identification App Based on Andriod System

An application that can perform iris identification on an Android phone is implemented. Firstly, the overall design framework of the system is introduced. Then the specific implementation algorithm of iris identification is introduced. A modified integrodifferential operator is used to locate the inner and outer boundaries of the iris accurately, which greatly improved the robustness of iris localization. In the feature extraction stage, we extracted the iris features using a 2D-Gabor filter. Finally, we gave the specific implementation results of the Android system. For the samples in the iris library issued by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the result proves that the iris identification app has a higher correct identification rate and a satisfactory speed.
