WIDE-TUNING-RANGE K-BAND MICROWAVE-PHOTONIC VCO USING AN ALL-OPTICAL HETERODYNE SCHEME

This paper presents an all-optical technique for providing a wide-tuning-range K-band microwave-photonic (MWP) voltage-con- trolled oscillator (VCO). The frequency-tuning range and gain of the VCO are 16 GHz and 25 MHz/mV, respectively. © 2004 Wiley Periodi- cals, Inc.
