An Architecture Based on Virtual Agent Market for Virtual Manufacturing Organization

Using the theories and technologies of multi-agent system,this paper models an agent-based enterprise information model and proposes a concept of virtual agent market(VAM) for virtual manufacturing organization(VMO),and thus constructs a VAM-based architecture of VMO for supporting manufacturing enterprise/organization in the network economy times to form a VMO with an open,distributed and flat networked organization system and information system,and a conceptual prototype system of VMO is implemented in principle.
