Drag and Lift on Spherical Flights

This report explains about the aerodynamic forces acting on a smooth ball and a dimpled ball over a wide range of Reynolds number and spin rate.The drag coefficient and lift coefficient were measured using wire strain gauges. Applying the spark tracing method, the separation points on balls were visualized clearly.By this experiment, the drag and lift influenced by separation points, were made clear aerodynamically.
