A joint source-channel coding algorithm based on error resilience capability

Aim To study effective and reliable transmission of video data through wireless channels.Methods The joint source-channel coding is combined with error resilience techniques.When the network bandwidth is determinate,an error resilience term of decoder is added to the rate-error evaluation function and a jointing source-channel coding scheme is carried out to achieve best delivery quality.Results A novel joint source-channel coding algorithm based on error resilience capability is proposed.Conclusion The proposed algorithm has better performance than pure JSCC systems,thus it is suitable for transmitting video streaming over the wireless networks.
