Powermanager: a model for industry-developed PC software

The American Public Power Association is developing microcomputer software for its membership. The development project uses outside contractors, yet relies on its staff for project management and its membership for industry evaluation. The software will cover 10 applications areas, including the fields of engineering, statistics, economics, and accounting. This project may be seen as a model for other energy industry groups to develop microcomputer software specifically for their membership. 3 figures.
