Grooming and RWA in translucent dynamic mixed-line-rate WDM networks with impairments

This paper develops a scheme to dynamically make grooming, regenerator placement, and routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) decisions for translucent mixed-line-rate optical networks. We consider physical impairments and compare to the no-grooming case.
