Research on control system of linear PM brushless DC motor based on single neuron PID

A new control system with high precision in position location of linear permanent magnet brushless DC motor (LPMBDCM) is introduced. In this system, DSP (TMS320LF2407) is adopted as the core controller, and the grating scale is used as positional sensor. The improved single neuron PI is adopted as the control strategy. The system is simulated based on Simplorer6.0 of Ansoft Corporation. The characteristic of position control and force as well as currents is presented. The validity of presented method is testified.
