The common evidence is that Data Mining appears more and more in the published articles when they describe the biomedical research results. In front of future new investigations, to foresee in advance if Data Mining will be successful for significant results would be useful. The wish is difficult to be answered also because Data Mining is not a robustly defined discipline. Mainly it is an aggregation of tools, sometime significantly different one each other. We attempted giving an answer. The results we obtained may help researchers in understanding if to solve their problem Data Mining tools could be useful and which tool is appropriate.
