Serial And Parallel Out-Of-Core Solution of Linear Systems arising from Generalised Stochastic Petri Nets

We present results on the serial and distributed outof-core solution of linear systems specified by Generalised Stochastic Petri Nets. We show that it is possible to solve such linear systems with over 700 million of unknowns on a 26-node workstation cluster within reasonable time.
