Temperature Compensation of Laminar Proportional Amplifiers Using a Linear Resistor Bypass.

Abstract : A theoretical and experimental study has been conducted on the use of the linear resistor bypass to compensate the supply nozzle Reynolds number of the laminar proportional amplifier (LPA) for temperature changes. Both the theoretical and experimental results indicate that the linear resistor bypass is a limited method for temperature compensation for the present LPA design because the supply nozzle of the LPA has a large linear resistance component.
