Nonlinear filters using quantum-dot cells

Quantum-dot arrays are an exciting future technology, which can be used for realising fully digital circuits. This architecture is especially well suited for many nonlinear digital filters, such as order statistics or morphological filters. The authors give some simple examples on how the nonlinear filter structures can be realised using quantum-dot cell architecture.
