Algorithm of Joint Hyperspectrum Image Compression and Encryption Based on Optimal Spectrum Prediction of Inter-Band,SPIHT and Chaos Mapping

For the security of hyperspectral image transmission, the algorithm of joint hyperspectrum image compression and encryption based on optimal spectrum prediction of inter-band,SPIHT and chaos mapping, named as HCSCE,is proposed in this paper. We use the optimal spectrum prediction of inter-band and SPIHT methods to encode and compress the hyperspectral image. In the process of compression, initialized LIP is permuted by the tent map, then a chaotic sequence is generated by the Lorenz chaotic map.The HCSCE algorithm encrypts the most significant bits which are important for reconstructing image, and finishes the encryption in the process of compression. The simulation results show that the HCSCE algorithm not only has a large key-space,but also is highly sensitive to both the key and plain-image.Moreover.it can increase the efficiency of image storage and transmission.
