Microcomputer-aided data acquisition system for laboratory testing of transformers and electrical machines

The author describes a microcomputer-aided data-acquisition system for laboratory testing of transformers and electrical machines. Series, simultaneous sampling, and parallel data acquisition systems that have been developed are reviewed. Accuracy of data-acquisition, resolution, sampling frequency, and aliasing effects are discussed. The design of signal conditioning systems for voltage and current measurements is presented. The application of the software developed in synchronous machine V-curve and transformer test is described. >
