Feedback linearization control applied to three-level boost rectifiers

This work introduces the input-output feedback Linearization controller for a three-level boost rectifiers, which presents a fast step response at the input current maintaining the dc-bus voltage balanced. A detailed modelling and linearization procedure is presented and then a state feedback controller is designed via pole-placement technique to render a simple and direct digital control. Finally, the proposed controller is compared against a classical PI controller to assess it transient performance.
