DCR current sensing technique for PFC circuits

DCR sensing techniques are extended to PFC circuits. Conventional boost PFC topology has issues to use DCR sensing techniques, while some PFC topologies with inductors in current returning passes are feasible to use this current sensing method. Application of this method on dual boost bridgeless PFC and a PFC with balance technique are studied. Design considerations and experiment results are presented.
