On free elementary $$\mathbb {Z}_p C_p$$-lattices

We show that all elementary lattices that are free $$\mathbb {Z}_p C_p$$ -modules admit an orthogonal decomposition into a sum of a free unimodular and a p-modular $$\mathbb {Z}_p C_p$$ -lattice.
