Reduction of image blurring for time-correlation magnetic particle imaging

Figure 2(a) shows the image reconstructed by the time-correlation method. In this simulation, negative signal components in the iterative processing were ignored. Figure 2(b) shows the reconstructed image after iterative processing. The mean squared error (MSE) was used as the evaluation criterion. The image quality improved up to 2.9 times. However, since the reconstructed image did not converge, an appropriate normalized parameter α should be set. Additionally, noise components were ignored in this experiment. In the future, the proposed method will need to be improved.
