과학관 건립 타당성 평가항목의 특화평가영역 필요성 연구

As domestic national science museum has not been developed than science museum in developed countries, the government started to expand science museum as a national strategic investment through basic plan to cultivate science museum. As part of such planning, national science museum is scheduled to open in Daegu and Gwangju in 2013. Regarding service contract for survey of validity for foundation of national science museum, though era changes and characteristics vary according to region, assessment survey of validity is proceeded with in a same way in basic, economic, policy analysis in every science museum. When science museum is built, regional characteristics and analysis on intangible social value as assets(synergy effect) such as regional related industry, regional corporate culture and creation of job, employment stability etc. which are derived from foundation of science museum should be given priority. But assessment is bound to economic figure, strict criterium in policy, and political interest. Such assessment criteria function as disturbing elements in foundation of science museum so that there are many difficulties for fluent progress of construction. For our science museum to reach level of other advanced science museum in the world, new scale to check validity which is a scale of construction requirement should be made to build science museum in various places considering regional balance, assessment items for validity about main specialized fields should be newly established, and it is necessary to arrange assessment criteria for condition to improve efficiency. In the science museums, children can feel real meanings and fun of science and they may have interests so that they can become scientist in the future. Furthermore, for employees related to fields of science and engineering, and science museum, job can be created. And employment succession, employment stability, and balanced development of region are possible through long expertness in the midst of frame of industry and culture that the region has.
