The EMF radiation calculation and measurement for smart antenna

This paper develops a reasonable and scientific radiation calculation method for smart antenna in the view of stochastic process. Radiation calculation method is very important to evaluate the risk of the EMF (Electromagnetic Field) radiation from antenna. Once the probability distribution function of the users in cell is known, we can get the EMF strength of the smart antenna. Due to the unique characteristic of smart antenna, its radiation measurement technique is different from the traditional way. This paper also gives an example to illustrate how to measure the EMF radiation from the smart antenna. The measured example shows that the novel radiation calculation is valid and workable for EMF radiation evaluation.
