Fundamental study on sensitivity of medical magnetic inductive impedance imaging

A 16-channel magnetic inductive impedance imaging system is developed. The relation between the amplitude, phase of the detected signal and the subject position is studied. High-precision techniques for amplitude discrimination and phase discrimination are applied to information acquisition. The changing rule of the amplitude and phase of the sensing signal along horizontal and vertical directions is determined, and thus the sensitivity curve is achieved. It's proved that detected signals vary regularly with different positions, and the study on regulation is useful for image reconstruction.
