暂无分享,去创建一个
A series of transportation recommendations developed for Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the impacts of these transportation system changes are documented. Problems and recommended solutions dealing with a comprehensive communications network, pedestrian safety, parking restrictions and an intracity mass transportation system are presented. Procedures involving problem identification, development of recommendations, and the effects of implementing each of these changes are discussed. Both 'before' and 'after' conditions are described. Certain survey methodologies, governmental arrangements, design criteria and implementation procedures are transferable directly to operations in other locales. The importance of a systems planning approach and the interrelationships among various transportation components are stressed.
