Reduction and recovery: keys to energy self-sufficiency
暂无分享,去创建一个
Energy savings concepts applicable to wastewater treatment facilities are presented in order to encourage the investigation and implementation of energy saving practices in the design and operation of wastewater facilities. The concepts discussed include: improving the power factor; reducing peak utility company power demand; selection of energy efficient equipment and processes; reduction of incinerator fuel consumption; improved plant control and operation procedures; planning operating and maintenance schedules to use off-hours rate reductions; and waste heat and energy recovery either by direct heat recovery or by using by-products as fuels.
