Alcothermal Synthesis under Basic Conditions of an SBA‐15 with Long‐Range Order and Stability

A method was proposed to synthesize high-quality large-pore mesoporous sieves with a tunable pore size to improve the stability. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed well-ordered hexagonal arrays of parallel one-dimensional mesopore channel. Hydrothermal treatment resulted in pore size expansion and broadening of the pore size distribution. The adsorption isotherms for all samples showed a unimodal pore size distribution.
