The invention discloses a method for calculating the contribution rate of rail transit vehicle maintenance regulations. The method comprises the steps of utilizing the failure time sequence at vehicle normal-line operation time of and the time sequence of vehicle failures found from the operation start of the vehicle to detection and repairing operation to account the failure time sequence at vehicle normal-line operation time after one maintenance regulation is removed; utilizing the failure time sequences to fit out a vehicle failure rate function; calculating the average vehicle failure rate; using the drop-out value of the average failure rate as the contribution degree of various maintenance regulations to vehicle safety operation; obtaining the contribution rate through normalization. The method can objectively evaluate the contribution of different maintenance regulations to safety operation of city rail transit vehicles, and has high practical value.
