Determination de la forme geometrique d'un profil correspondant a une distribution de pression donnee. La solution exacte de Lighthill de ce probleme en ecoulement incompressible montre que la distribution de pression en surface et la vitesse du courant libre ne peuvent etre prescrites independammment. La meme contrainte existe aux vitesses compressibles. Description d'une nouvelle methode de resolution du probleme inverse aux vitesses transsoniques
