An electric power steering control unit

The invention relates to an electric motor control device for a power steering apparatus which can make a proper steering force to a steering wheel according to driving conditions. An electric power steering control apparatus of the present invention includes a steering shaft reaction force torque sensor for detecting a reaction force torque of a steering system, a superposition reaction force torque calculation unit (111) for multiplying a steering angle detected by the steering angle sensor, with an amplification factor to a higher-level reaction force torque to calculate in the return direction of rotation of a steering wheel (101), and a control unit (111) for controlling the gain, such that the superposed reaction force torque is reduced when a reaction force torque of the steering system is large, and the superimposed reaction force torque is increased when a reaction force torque the steering system is low.
