SummaryIn a short-term study of 100 patients suffering from a variety of acute rheumatic conditions, 1800 mg. ibuprofen daily was shown to be an effective and well-tolerated form of therapy. Seventy-nine percent of patients showed a prompt and good response, and this was particularly noticeable in patients with non-articular rheumatism and disco-vertebral pathology.
