Application of the Participatory Method to the Computer Fundamentals Course

Computer Fundamentals is widely given to junior students from different majors in almost all universities.But almost all classes still take the traditional teacher-centered style.This style of course is boring and difficult to learn for students who have almost no idea of the computer principles before.In order to solve this problem,this paper introduces the learner-centered participatory method into the course and studies its education architecture.The interactive education techniques,corresponding textbook and course schedule,potential problems are under discussion.This education method can stimulate the interests of students,help them understand the fundamentals and further improve their creative abilities.
