A Bezier Curve-Based Font Generation Algorithm for Character Fonts

This paper presents an algorithm that automatically generates fonts based on Bezier curve. We locate the feature points by computing the intersection of the adjoining segments-elments, and draw the feature segment which named Linear Bézier curves or quadratic Bézier curves between any adjacent feature points, and automatically generates the stroke of the Chinese characters. This algorithm greatly improves the shape of the corner of the Chinese characters fonts. It can be used to dynamically generate the Chinese character of the personalization true type font, and overcome the problem on Chinese handwriting font design and font generation. This algorithm is efficacious in Chinese information cloud storage and cloud service, and also provides an effective strategy and methods for the design of a deeper cloud character information service.
