BRAKE-SQUEAL MEASUREMENT USING ELECTRONIC SPECKLE PATTERN INTERFEROMETRY

The demand for increased braking reliability and safety requires detailed knowledge about the vibration behaviour of the brake disc. This paper presents results from vibration measurement using a technique called Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI). This non-contact, full-field, three-dimensional technique provides fast behaviour analysis of squealing brake discs. For the covering abstract see ITRD E119187.
