The Establishment of Gas-Pipeline Security Manage Platform Based on GIS

Oil and gas pipeline transportation plays an important role in the national economy, but there are many accidents in gas output process such as pipeline perforation burst and the trust of pipeline floods. In order to ensure the safe operation of oil pipeline and reduce the loss after the accident happened, this paper established an oil and gas pipeline safety platform based on GIS technology. The purpose of this platform is to provide an accurate, real-time and effective service. The platform organizes and manages complex data of pipeline based on large-scale GIS-based spatial database. It uses WEBGIS publishing technology as well as Ajax technology to monitor the state of pipelines online. It provides a real-time monitor to report dynamic changing of pipeline operation. With GIS spatial analysis, it can accurately report the location of pipeline leaks. It also establish the explosion accident analysis of the logic control network model, a timely and expeditious manner to find the valve should be closed, and finally, it analysis the scope of the effects of the accident using decision-making pre-warning knowledge database. After running the experimental platform, it provides a higher degree of information security. And safe management will get stronger guaranty in oil output process. It also provides data support for supervising pipelines engineering.
