Modeling and control of three Phases grid connected photovoltaic system

This paper addresses the modeling and control of the grid connected photovoltaic system. The system contains a PV panel that converts irradiation to electrical power, a boost converter which increases the voltage of the PV, and a grid connected inverter to convert the DC power to three Phases AC power. MPPT control is developed in order to track the maximum power provided by the photovoltaic generator. The grid side inverter is controlled to keep the DC link constant, to synchronize the frequency and phase between the grid and PV, and to have a unitary power factor side grid. Simulation is carried out in Matlab/Simulink and the results shows the performance and dynamic behavior of the proposed system.
