Tracking control of DC motors via mimo nonlinear fuzzy control

Abstract This paper proposed a nonlinear controller for speed tracking of separately excited DC motors (SEDCM’s) using the multi-input multi-output (MIMO) fuzzy logic controller (FLC’s). Based on a nonlinear mathematical model of SEDCM, a FLC is designed to achieve high performance speed tracking through rejection load disturbance. Computer simulations are presented to show speed tracking performance and the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
