The intelligent socket has a self-identification function, an ad-hoc networking function and a self-routing function, when the user practically uses the socket, the user does not need to change existing living habits on appearance and operation, the user can learn of real-time and history power-using situations, the power-using detailed list, power quality, electric appliance types, operation working conditions and other data at any time, and meanwhile when a power supply is in fault, in overload, in overvoltage and in overcurrent, power can be cut off timely, electric appliances are protected, fire hazards are avoided, and fault location is quick.
