Voice encryption and decryption in telecommunication

The advances in wireless communication technology over the past era has provided better data and voice security. This paper provides an idea for encryption of voice signal in wired Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) system as it has better connectivity, and is noise free. The idea of the paper is to ensure advance level of audio security using rapid time domain scrambling. The resultant intricate voice remains suitable to almost all communication channel. Analog voice scrambling can be inserted into narrowband voice channel as it does not increase the bandwidth. The planned hardware consists of an economical yet reliable AVR-microcontroller with added Static Random-Access Memory SRAM together with a few analog circuitry.
