EMERGENCY OPERATION BASED ON MULTI AGENT TECHNOLOGY IN FRIENDS

FRIENDS is a concept of future power distribution system proposed by the authors. In FRIENDS, new facilities called Quality Control Center are installed into dis- tribution system and supply electricity with some quality levels which the customers need. This paper proposes the novel emer- gency operation method in the framework of FRIENDS. The proposed method is based on the multi agent technology and realizes the fast fault restoration in a distributed and autonomous manner. Effectiveness of the proposed method is ascertained through the Monte Carlo simulation.
