Enhanced Action Based Trust Model: A Multi-facet Model for Social Media

User activities traceability and linkability through social media status updates and other information shared on Online Social Network (OSN) such as Facebook jeopardize the confidentiality and integrity security principles and subsequently the decrease of technology trustworthiness. In this paper, the need for a multi-facet trust management system on OSN is discussed. An enhanced action based trust model which integrates action based trust and multi-facet model with ranked trust attributes is presented. Overall, the enhanced trust model is able to support user to relate and understand the effect of privacy and confidentiality values of oneself when being personal information is being exposed in social media sites.
