METODOLOGÍA CIENTÍFICA EN VALORACIÓN Y SELECCIÓN AMBIENTAL

El paradigma de la racionalidad sustantiva ha dominado la investigacion cientifica durante la mayor parte del siglo XX. No obstante, cuando se trabaja con aspectos intangibles y multiples criterios, como sucede en valoracion y seleccion ambiental, esta filosofia positivista orientada a la prediccion y el control presenta serias limitaciones, lo que ha llevado desde comienzo de los 70 a la busqueda de nuevas aproximaciones. El constructivismo y la ciencia postnormal son algunas de las mas extendidas en el campo de la economia ecologica. En lo que sigue, se analiza su relacion con una de las aproximaciones mas recientes en este ambito: la racionalidad procedimental multicriterio, intentando establecer un marco para la metodologia cientifica en seleccion ambiental.
